Checklist for your move:

  • Remember to inform the relevant parties of your change of address. This includes but is not limited to; Local authority for council tax, your bank, your GP, gas water and electric suppliers. If you drive also inform the DVLA and your insurers
  • Remember to read your meters for gas, water and electricity.
  • Think about carpet protectors, especially in bad weather.
  • If parking is an issue then inform your neighbours and ask they leave room for the van
